Lunardi still projects Cats as #5

by:Thomas Beisner02/28/11
bracketology-2-28 ESPN's Joe Lunardi dished out his final February installment of Bracketology this morning and it didn't provide a lot of hypothetical movement for the Cats, who landed as a five-seed once again.  However, it did provide a little bit of hypothetical intrigue as Lunardi's 1-4 seeds in the region seem to be close to as favorable as it might get for a fifth-seeded team in a neutral environment.  The top goes BYU, Notre Dame, North Carolina and St. John's - a quartet that is certainly qualified, but not exactly intimidating.  If it's the end of the year and the Cats get this draw, you'd have to be pleased.  Oh yeah, they also hypothetically face Lexington's son, Shelvin Mack, and his Butler team in the first round. Here is where UK's other opponents this season landed: 4 - Florida 4 - UConn 4 - Louisville 5 - Vanderbilt 9 - Tennessee 11 - Georgia Full Bracketology
