On Friday night, UK's 2017 commit was invited to the Elite 11 finals, which will take place in Los Angeles June 3-5, and yesterday, he picked up an offer from Texas A&M, his 18th scholarship offer, and third from an SEC school. https://twitter.com/macjones2017/status/729490747028848640 Jones committed to Kentucky in July 2015, but in recent months, turned the heads of the big boys with impressive performances at The Opening Orlando camp and the Baltimore Rivals QB Challenge. A month ago, Alabama offered, but Jones maintains his commitment to Kentucky is firm. Right now, Rivals ranks him the 15th best pro-style quarterback in the 2017 class. Texas A&M's offer comes on the heels of a hellish week in recruiting for the Aggies. If you missed it, their top QB prospect Tate Martell decommitted, prompting assistant coach Aaron Moorehead to go on an epic Twitter rant about loyalty, which led to more decommits. I can't imagine Jones having serious interest in the Aggies after all that given his loyalty to Kentucky thus far, but it's an honor to get the offer, I'm sure. Enjoy some of Jones' highlights from the Rivals QB Challenge last month:
