Mark Stoops has Kentucky on pace for its best season in decades, and he will be well compensated for his success if things keep up. Thanks to a restructuring of Stoops' contract in March of last year, Stoops' incentives include a $250,000 bonus for each win after the sixth win in a single season. The Cats are currently 6-1 on the current season, so Stoops will receive a check for $250K with a win over Missouri on Saturday -- then again if they beat Georgia, then again if they beat Tennessee, then again if they beat Middle Tennessee State, then again when they beat Louisville. His bank account could get even fatter if Kentucky were to win the SEC East and play in Atlanta. He'd receive $100K for reaching the game and another $100K if his team could pull off the unthinkable by beating Alabama (or, hopefully, LSU). Things get really wild if Stoops can lead Kentucky to the national championship, but let's worry about Mizzou first. Also, congrats to Stoops' agent.
