It created quite the stir, with Louisville fans claiming Stoops was "bigger than tradition" even though the luncheon itself seemed a little pointless considering the UK/UofL game was moved to the end of the season. It looks like we'll finally get to see Stoops and Bobby Petrino make nice for the cameras this time around. WKYT is reporting that Stoops will attend the luncheon, which is scheduled for June 3 at the Frankfort Country Club. According to The Kroger Company, Petrino will also attend, along with honorees from both schools, including Jeff Brohm, Mike Cassity, Mark Higgs, Tom Andrews and Gary Barnes. ESPN's Lee Corso will make a guest appearance. Both Petrino and Stoops have taken subtle digs at each other over the past year, so hopefully something juicy will come from it. (Don't count on it.)
