[caption id="attachment_236238" align="alignnone" width="414"] Colts.com[/caption] Mark Stoops has hired a new defensive assistant.  Sources tell KSR former Indianapolis Colts linebackers coach Brad White will be the tenth Kentucky football assistant coach. White spent the last six seasons coaching outside linebackers for Chuck Pagano in Indianapolis.  Prior to his professional coaching career, White coached linebackers at the Air Force Academy for two seasons and at Murray State for one season.  White played the position in college for Dean Hood at Wake Forest.  He joins Hood and Matt House as the third UK defensive assistant with extensive history coaching linebackers. In the first year collegiate coaches are permitted to have ten full-time assistants, Stoops has found an excellent combination of youth and professional experience to help his defense. UPDATE After much deliberating between KSR's Football crew, Jen Smith has confirmed our belief: Dean Hood will hand over the linebacking duties to White.  Hood will keep his special teams coordinating duties and join Steve Clinkscale in the secondary.
