Image via Elam's Twitter This past weekend, top 2014 UK target Matt Elam suffered a knee injury that many feared was a torn ACL. Fortunately, the injury isn't that serious. Elam's coach Chad Lewis told the Herald-Leader's Ben Roberts that the talented defensive tackle was diagnosed with a dislocated patella in his left knee on Monday. He's "very doubtful" for John Hardin's game against Bowling Green on Friday. Elam will announce his college decision on January 4th. In other 2014 recruiting news, offensive lineman Nick Richardson will not enroll in January as originally thought. His mother told the Herald-Leader that her son will sign with UK in February on National Signing Day and graduate from his high school this spring. If you want to see Richardson in action, he recently updated his highlight video for his Senior year (plenty of pancakes, plus a helmet-flying hit around the :50 mark).
