Ham 'Society of Character'. Even though Andrew Wiggins and the Untouchables should be enough to fill the seats of Rupp Arena, I'm sure there will still be people fighting in the seats to get their best view of Morgan Newton. The Society of Character was founded in the 1998-99 school year to honor Wildcats who have shown an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, athletic participation, personal development, and career preparation while serving as a role model. Matt Smith got the job done on the field- serving as this year's Offensive Team Captain- as well as off the field, taking a mission trip to Ethiopia with Joker Phillips and others over the summer. Newton may have been highly scrutinized in his 4 years, but he consistently kept a positive attitude throughout. He had phenomenal grades during his time earning SEC Honor Roll each year, and is genuinely a very nice person to talk to.   Kentucky's 2013 Society of Character Inductees Khristina Blajkevitch- Tennis Seth Blann- Golf Kara Dill- Softball Megan Eppler- Swimming Kastine Evans- Basketball John Fox- Diving Kayla Hartley- Gymnastics Shelby Kennard- Pole Vaulter Brooke Keyes- Soccer Heather Lott- Golf Morgan Newton- Football Chelsea Oswald- Cross Country, Track and Field Steven Perinovic- Soccer Shiara Robinson- Track and Field Maclin Simpson- Swimming Matt Smith- Football Hiruni Wijayaratne- Track and Field Cameron Wilder- Soccer
