Matt Smith is Cut From the Falcons
Former UK Center Matt Smith sought to achieve the dream by making it to the National Football League. After signing with the Atlanta Falcons as a Free Agent, Smith's dream came up just short after failing to earn a roster spot as the NFL preseason winds down. Smith Tweeted this out earlier today:
Smith will surely have more opportunities to find a place to play, but getting cut is salt on the wound. The best of luck to you Matt!My time in ATL is over. I appreciate the opportunity and the support. Back to KY and on to the next
