Screen Shot 2016-05-19 at 10.35.33 PM Memphis, Tennessee point guard Jaida Roper has stopped the bleeding for the UK Hoops program.  She announced on Twitter: Screen Shot 2016-05-19 at 10.45.34 PM A former Louisiana Tech signee, the 3-star point guard committed to Kentucky after she received a release from her National Letter of Intent in the fallout from Tyler Summitt's scandal.  Roper follows Amber Smith, a former LaTech assistant, who is now on staff at UK.  Roper was a two-time all-state performer in Tennessee, ranked as the 30th best point guard in her class by ESPN. Most importantly, Roper will be able to play next fall, giving Matthew Mitchell seven players on next year's roster.  It feels good to report that a player is joining the program, rather than leaving.
