In the category of "General Franco is Still Dead" news stories, Billy Gillispie confirmed today at Media Day that
Matthew Pilgrim's health is fine. We received emails this weekend about Pilgrim being taken to the hospital and there has been a great deal of under the breath whispers about his status. Gillispie confirmed today that he simply suffered from a bout of dehydration, that his health is fine and that he is doing well in practice. Good news for a guy that is about to become a breakout star.
As Coach Cyprien said on our show on Wednesday, "sometimes guys slip under the radar....but this kid is a BEAST!"
