28-20 defeat of the Clemson Tigers in Nashville.
Andre Woodson cemented his season with a very nice 300 yards in passing and three touchdowns, earning him the MVP and placing him alongside one-time juggernaut and famed latter-career press-conference crier Tim Couch as the only two QBs to top the 30 touchdown mark in one season. The
Dickie Lyons Junior Show also put up a strong season finale and, in a festivus miracle, this
defense was truly a force to be contended with, forcing Clemson to stuff their sorries in several sacks provided by the Cats.
