mkg-nickrichards1 Yesterday, John Calipari and Tony Barbee traveled to New Jersey to meet with five-star center Nick Richards of St. Patrick's High School, the alma mater of former Kentucky players Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Dakari Johnson. According to Adam Zagoria, MKG has been working those ties between St. Patrick's and Kentucky, calling Richards to encourage him to pick the Cats. Considering Kentucky is the the frontrunner with 100% of the predictions in the 6'11" big man's Crystal Ball, I'm sure that was a pretty easy conversation. What was it like when Calipari and Barbee walked in to the gym at St. Pat's to meet with Richards and his family? "When he comes into the building, everything comes to a standstill," St. Pat's coach Chris Chavannes told Zagoria. "The faculty, everything comes to a standstill. It's huge when he comes by here. It's great for the kids to see him, and it's great for the young kids to see him. He definitely did stop traffic inside the building and outside the building." Come on down, Nick. Sounds like you're already part of La Familia.
