Good news: after suffering a labrum tear back on October 3, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has been cleared for full-contact practice. The Charlotte Hornets shared the good news in a press release this morning. Initial reports said MKG would miss the entire 2015-2016 season, but a few weeks ago, he vowed to return before the season was over and began participating in non-contact drills. There's no timetable on when he'll be able to play in actual games, but knowing MKG and his work ethic, it'll be as soon as humanly possible. [NBA.com]
