Mickie Demoss contract extended
Well for those of you who are happy with the basketball success that the UK women's team showed last year, today must have been a happy day. Mitch Barnhart continued to show his mastery of the non-revenue sports by extending the contract of Mickie Demoss, therefore keeping the women's program on the forward progression that it recently began. This was an important signal from the University that the non-revenue sports are important, and by locking Demoss up, it makes it clear that unless one of the big girls of women's basketball comes calling (UT, Tennessee, etc), Demoss will be a Cat for the rest of her career.
Now with this news, I feel like this is as good a time to admit this as ever. I actually think Coach Demoss is kind of attractive. Am I off on this? I dont know if it is the pantsuit, short haircut or just the aggression at referees, but there is something very appealing about the Coach. Am I alone? I know she, being a she, is not the Turkey Hunter's type, but is anyone else on board?
