Mike Edwards joins Will Levis with Tennessee Titans
Former Kentucky football star Mike Edwards did not get a fair shake in Buffalo, requesting his release from the Bills after seeing action in just three games with one solo tackle. He was coming off his second-most productive season of his career, racking up 51 tackles in 17 games for the Kansas City Chiefs en route to a Super Bowl ring.
The Cincinnati native signed a one-year deal with the Bills worth $1.28 million hoping to add a third world championship to his collection. Instead, he was a healthy scratch most of the season.
After being granted his release at the trade deadline, the former Wildcat has found a new home — and it’s close to his old home as a Wildcat. He’s on his way to Nashville to sign with the Tennessee Titans, pending physical, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Edwards joins fellow former Kentucky star Will Levis, who is in a bit of a rough patch himself after an inconsistent start to his sophomore year in Nashville and is currently dealing with a shoulder injury.

Former Auburn HC to return to sideline
The six-year pro has started in 28 of 78 career games played with 236 tackles, eight interceptions, four fumble recoveries and three sacks.
During his time at Kentucky, Edwards was one of just two defensive backs to join the 300-tackle club as a three-time All-SEC selection with 44 consecutive starts. He finished his career with 10 interceptions, tied for fourth-most in school history.
Can he get things rolling again in Nashville? That’s the hope for an all-time Wildcat.
