Former Kentucky offensive line coach Mike Summers has landed a new job out in sunny California.
Summers will join Lane Kiffin's staff at USC, where another former UK coach,Tee Martin, coaches the wide receivers.
Summers was hired by his good friend Bobby Petrino at Western Kentucky just last month, but he's trading in the Corvette museum and Fruit of the Loom factory for a life in Los Angeles. Not a bad move.
A lot of folks, including current and former Wildcats, were hoping Mark Stoops would keep Summers around in Lexington. Larry Warford called him the best offensive line coach in the nation, and Warford isn't the only person who believes that. Summers is loved and respected by all who have worked for and with him.
