As sports slowly crawl their way back into our lives, Kentucky's "Unbridled Tour" is returning with a nice local event for golfers of both the professional and amateur variety. The 54-hole tournament gets underway tomorrow and will run through Thursday with the winner taking a $10,000 prize. Notable golfers in the field include former University of Kentucky standouts Chip McDaniel and Cooper Musselman, as well as friend of the program and Kentucky native Kent Bulle, a two-time winner on the Latin American tour and my favorite golfer of all time. BD Global is behind the mini-tour event and it can't be understated what a great opportunity this is for golfers young and old to get out and compete for a very generous purse. There's a total of $20,000 up for grabs to a small field... you just don't see many opportunities like that to earn a paycheck in the golf world. Unfortunately the tournament is closed to spectators due to the state of the planet, but KSR will be there to cover it (I'm sneaking in in Kent's golf bag) for everyone interested in the results.
