Kentucky opened up basketball season with a bang last night for Big Blue Madness, where we witnessed a massive family reunion, some dancing, and a little bit of scrimmaging to cap the night off.

If you weren't able to attend or see it on TV, or just need your Saturday morning fix of Kentucky basketball, here are a few highlights, courtesy of KSTV:

Post-scrimmage thoughts: Briscoe is still absolutely ridiculous at finishing at the rim. Bam Adebayo is a scary human, and that windmill dunk was disgusting. De'Aaron Fox gets to the rim with ease, as fast as advertised. Malik Monk will have a few 30+ point games this year, will probably end up on #SCTop10 more times than not. Wenyen Gabriel is still raw, but he's going to be really good by the end of the year. We won't have to yell "SHOOOOOOT" every time Brad Calipari touches the ball like the usual walk-ons, he knows he always has the green light to let it fly, and certainly does.   Your next opportunity to watch the 2016-17 squad in action comes next Friday in the annual Blue-White scrimmage at 7 PM.  Tickets are still available here.
