The injury bug has taken a big bite out of the Mississippi State football team with a must-win game against Kentucky ahead. State head coach Dan Mullen announced on Monday that the Bulldogs could be without three key starters in Lexington: running back Brandon Holloway, right guard Deion Calhoun and safety Kivon Coman. Holloway, a senior, leads Mullen's running backs in yards this season. You may remember him from his big game against Kentucky last year with 36 rush yards and 98 receiving with one touchdown. Calhoun has played in all six games at right guard this season, but an ankle injury suffered in the first half at BYU has him listed as uncertain for the Kentucky game. Then there's Coman, who leads the team in interceptions and did not travel to Utah with an undisclosed injury. Mullen said he's not confident any of the three will be able to go.
