Tuesday afternoon the Preseason First Team All-SEC running back announced he is opting out of the 2020 college football season, leaving Starkville to prepare for the NFL Draft. [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] @H_Kylin[/caption] After rushing for 1,350 yards and ten touchdowns a season ago, Hill only played in three games in 2020. The powerful rusher had 158 receiving yards on eight catches in the Bulldogs' season-opening victory over LSU. Despite catching 15 passes against Kentucky for 79 yards, he reportedly had an outburst in the locker room following the two-point offensive performance, marking the end of Hill's time in Starkville. Mike Leach's offense was not made for Mississippi State's personnel. Even though they consistently fed Hill the football, the Air Raid has been grounded since week one. We could be in for a long rebuild in Starkville, one that would benefit Kentucky.
