Montrezl Harrell is Impressive

With Anthony Bennett off the table, the topic of not only who will we get but also who do we want becomes much more prevalent. While Bennett was certainly the gem of the remaining uncommitted players in 2012, there are a number of highly talented seniors and transfers who could step in and make an immediate impact. One of those players is Montrezl Harrell. The senior from Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia is still committed to Virginia Tech, but with the recent ousting of coach, Seth Greenberg, Harrell may be searching for a new place to call home next season. If he does pull the trigger and decommit, look for his to be a name near the top of Kentucky's wish list. He's the kind of guy that could stay for a few years and becoming a real weapon for future Cats teams. As the 82nd ranked player in the country by Rivals and the 20th ranked power forward, Harrell could look for time in the position that seemed only a short while ago to be claimed by Anthony Bennett. Only time will tell what player or possibly players will round out the 2012 recruiting class, but it seems safe to say that without Bennett, Kentucky won't have nearly the same dominating presence that it possessed last year.
