Did some more digging early this afternoon and it looks like there are some legs to the
Roshown Mcleod as the third UK Assistant story. One of my Duke friends told me that he had heard that "Mcleod was going somewhere big as an Assistant", but that he knew of no school at this point. Then, two folks around UK confirmed that there is more to this than just idle speculation as Mcleod has been doing something behind the scenes with UK. We still have no idea if the story is true or not, or if Mcleod may have some other role that isnt as an Assistant (
UPDATE: Just received a text that this may be the most likely scenario), but its July so its always good to talk. It has been thought for some time that UK might wait to hire the Third Assistant coach, but if this story is true, one of the Dookies may have already fit the bill. If you dont remember, Mcleod was the Duke player in 1998 whose vicious elbow to Jeff Sheppard got the comeback rally started that ultimately led to the Final Four. McCarty to UL.....McLeod to Kentucky....what is next, Charles Barkley to the Tide?
