New Hampshire really loves hockey
Thanks to Deadspin for this very interesting infograph detailing the nation's highest-paid public employees. The states whose highest-paid employee is the basketball coach reads like a who's who of elite college basketball programs, and, predictably, the rest of the country puts more of an emphasis on football. Except for New Hampshire, who really, really loves hockey, and Connecticut, who is so afraid of being goosed by Geno Auriemma that they keep throwing money at him.
