Bailey committed to the Cats in 2007 but spent the last two seasons at Southwest Mississippi Junior College after failing to qualify academically at UK. For those of you who don't follow UK football as religiously as the rest of us (shame on you), Bailey is a hard-hitting safety out of LaGrange, Georgia - a familiar place to UK football fans.  LaGrange produced former Kentucky stars Wesley Woodyard, Braxton Kelley (Bailey's cousins), and Demoreo Ford, as well as current starting cornerback Randall Burden, redshirt freshmen Qua Huzzie and Tristian Johnson, and the freshman kicking phenom Joe Mansour.  GO GRANGERS! Bailey is expected to come in and compete for the starting strong safety job right away.  He has been timed as low as 4.37 in the 40-yard dash and has been known to really lay the lumber on opponents.  See for yourself... If that's not convincing enough, Bailey has long dreadlocks that will look really intimidating alongside fellow dread-head Winston Guy in the Kentucky secondary. You can't honestly tell me dreadlocks don't increase an athlete's ability and intensity. If I played football, I would invent clip-on dreadlocks for the back of my helmet just so everyone knew I meant business. Go Cats.
