Nerlens-Noel-3 Nerlens Noel was dubbed the "renter from hell" and hit with a $40,000 lawsuit after he was accused of destroying a Philadelphia home he had been renting last year. The owners alleged he completely trashed the 4,800 square foot home, with damages ranging from severely clogged toilets to a broken elevator and costly damages to the carpets and appliances. The owners also believe Noel is behind a tombstone showing up at their doorstep the day after they asked for compensation for the damages. Noel is now adamantly denying the destruction in legal documents of his own, according to TMZ. The TMZ exclusive reports Noel claims he offered to help repair the carpet even though he doesn't believe he played a role in damaging it. Noel also insists the tombstone was a leftover Halloween direction, not a threat. He wants the entire thing dropped. [TMZ]
