Today during a UK convention in Franklin, Ohio, Associate Athletics Director of Basketball Operations, Chris Wollard, was asked about the academic status of 2012 recruit, Nerlens Noel. In news that is a relief to Kentucky fans everywhere
Wollard stated that Nerlens is currently "fine academically." The announcement was brought to the world via
Larry Vaught's Twitter.
This is not an official University statement, but it's certainly a good tidbit to hear in the uncertain times when he has not yet arrived on campus.
