The one-time consensus No. 1 pick has seen his draft stock slip in recent weeks, but Nerlens Noel is staying positive in these final days leading up to the 2013 NBA Draft. Noel told HoopsWorld.com, "It definitely won't be the end of the world," when asked about the possibility he won't be this year's top overall pick. That's good to hear, because it would be a really bizarre situation if the fate of the world was determined in the NBA draft. We love Noel, but we don't want the future of our existence resting on his shoulders Thursday night, especially with Dan Gilbert making the call. Noel used Kevin Durant, the second overall pick in the 2007 draft, and Carlos Boozer, a second rounder in 2002, as two examples of guys who have found success without being drafted first. "You can still become an All-Star and be successful," he told HoopsWorld. The former Wildcat received an invite to the green room over the weekend. He will be joined by his mother, his two older brothers, his little sister and Coach Cal. Go Cats. [Nerlens Noel Ready To Learn His Fate]
