Netflix's Mr. Show Reboot Sets a Premiere Date

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNizRJ2jKdg Those of you who know me well know that I have always considered HBO's four-season, undersung Mr. Show to be one of the premier sketch comedy programs of the last three decades. Not only did Bob Odenkirk and David Cross turn out consistently quotable, inspired premises but Mr. Show also helped to launch the careers of a slew of currently alt-famous folk: Sarah Silverman, Paul F. Tompkins, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jack Black and Scott Aukerman, among others. As Netflix continues to mine the 90's for revamp material (Fuller House, anyone?) it hit upon a clamoring niche of comedy fans who desperately want a return to the Odenkirk/Cross sketch formula -- and somehow convinced the duo to do it. Even better, it's just around the corner. According to the first teaser trailer above, W/ Bob and David premieres and will be bingeable beginning November 13, with nearly the entire cast and writers returning. Can it capture lightning again? Or will it be further proof that, a la the fourth season of Arrested Development, nothing gold can stay? Thoughts?
