ny-post I gotta be honest, I didn't expect to see a Kentucky-Southern Miss preview in the New York Post when I visited the website to read about Drake and Rihanna; but there it was, a story on why Mark Stoops' Wildcats will struggle in the season opener. The author, someone who coincidentally calls himself The Wildcat, provided his gambling pick for the game and took Southern Miss to cover the six points on the road. "Golden Eagles offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson was the offensive coordinator at Kentucky last season, so he knows things," The Wildcat explains. "Southern Miss’s pass rush could prove the difference. Grab Brett Favre’s alma mater (+6), for one unit." The Wildcat has picked games for 20 years for the magazine and has a 546-462 overall record. It's not very comforting to know this was his play for Week 1, the easiest weekend to make money on college football. I went the other way with a big play on the Cats. May the best man/team win.
