The first round of the NBA playoffs are nearing a close, and quite an amazing feat has happened for the Wildcats. Of Kentucky’s 17 former Cats currently in the NBA,
nine of them appeared in the playoffs this season. That is the most out of any school, and one more than the three-way tie for second among Duke, North Carolina and UCLA.
Rajon Rondo (Celtics), Eric Bledsoe (Clippers), Jodie Meeks (76ers), and Nazr Mohammed (Thunder) are on teams still alive in the postseason. While Josh Harrellson (Knicks), Enes Kanter (Jazz), Deandre Liggins and Daniel Orton (Magic), and Kelenna Azubuike (Mavericks) are on teams that have been eliminated.

Jodie Meeks and the Sixers will play the Chicago Bulls in game six of the series tonight at 7 o'clock, needing one more win to advance. Rajon Rondo will lead the Celtics against the Atlanta Hawks at 8 o'clock in game six, where the Celtics are also looking for one more win to move on.
