If we learned nothing else in this crazy week, we learned that there's no more pure love than the one exists between a man and his home town (or county). Unfortunately, it seems that John Wall might not be getting the same respect from the media back in Raleigh. After saying after yesterday's Rupp Award ceremony that he is entertaining the thought of returning to school,
the News and Observer posted this little blurb (with no name attached) ripping into Wall's decision-making, insinuating it was for attention and comparing him to Mariah Carey. Besides being incredibly unfair, it's interesting to see him being attacked for thinking about returning to school when UK has spent the week getting ripped for everyon leaving early. From the tone of the piece, you'd have to assume that if he declared on Monday, they'd take a shot for not taking school seriously and not being a true student-athlete. Turds.
It also should be noted that if John Wall had thighs like Mariah Carey, he'd look like a centaur. A doughy, two-legged centaur.
