I admit that I wasnt a believer in Georgetown all year. I was thinking about the Georgetown of old, coached by John Thompson the elder, a team that won with overwhelming talent and toughness. I thought that was Georgetown basketball and while I saw good players on this Hoya team, I didnt believe the talent was out of this world good. Well what I found out today, is that this wasnt
our father's Georgetown team. JTIII is a whole different type of coach, playing fundamental defense and overwhelmning you with athleticism combined with intelligence. This Georgetown team is a force and the Princeton influence in JTIII is truly evident. I loved the team I watched today and I am ready for them next weekend.
