Game....too....close.
What a finish to the game!
Cats barely escape 20-14 after MTSU's hail mary gets stopped on the half-yard line. Lost in all of the craziness of the ending was a fairly solid performance by MikeHartline, who played every snap after an injury to Randall Cobb. Hartline finished 28/47 for 254 yards and 2 TDs and had more than a handful of passes dropped and a touchdown pass wiped out by a penalty.
It's good to escape with a W but it wasn't the kind that leaves you all warm and fuzzy inside. Ricky Lumpkin, Micah Johnson and Cobb watched from the sideline on crutches and Lones mother F'ing Seiber missed 4 FGs, the last of which was blocked with 8 seconds remaining, setting up the hail mary.
