A quick update on the Patrick Patterson situation. A number of websites and now a news agency are all reporting on the possibility that Patrick was taken out of practice and to the hospital yesterday with some type of heart issue. It bears mentioning that these reports, including the one by Rob Bromley on WKYT
HAVE NOT been confirmed by anyone at UK. At this point, UK has said nothing and likely will be able to say nothing due to privacy health concerns. I did speak this morning with Patrick's mother who said that she knew nothing of the reports, although she had not spoken to her son today. At this point, all is simply conjecture and the rumors that are running rampant are.....to say the very least....extremely premature. When something is there to report, UK will release it.
