We have had a lot of fun over the past year with the video we discovered,
"Lazy Tuesday", which I discovered one day while surfing around on YouTube. "Lazy Tuesday set the world on fire after its launch here, finding its way to Deadspin.com, CBS Sportsline, CNNSI and other national outlets. One of the two guys in the video, Daniel Solzman, became a poster on here and has often contributed to the site.
Well a year later, Fox Sports calls "Lazy Tuesday",
"arguably the worst thing ever made. In the history of time. Ever." Strong words indeed.....but maybe true. "Lazy Tuesday" has become a part of my life....I hear the rhymes everywhere I go "We love Kentucky baysketball.....We love Kentucky Ba Ba Basketball." I have probably played it over 100 times in the last year and I still to this day will use its refrain on our radio show. Daniel has been a good sport and has promoted our site as well. In fact in the Fox Sports article, he gives Kentucky Sports Radio credit for discovering the video and helping make it famous.
So today we salute "Lazy Tuesday." Its not often you can produce the worst thing ever....and we are thankful for the small part we played in its creation. "Talkin about Kentucky Ba Ba Basketball......with WLAP's Tom LEACH LEACH LEACH!"
