The Opening Line for Kentucky vs. Valparaiso

Kentucky basketball action returns to Rupp Arena for one more tune-up before Tuesday’s rivalry game against Louisville. Vegas believes it will be a blowout.

Our friends at BetMGM have handicapped the matchup between the Wildcats and Beacons of Valparaiso. Kentucky is a 34.5-point favorite with a total of 156.5. That gives us a projected final score of 95.5-61.

The Wildcats did not cover a 31.5-point spread in the opener against Nicholls, and under bettors cashed tickets. Valpo also failed to cover as a 5.5-point favorite, but opened the season with a 3-point win over Eastern Illinois. That total also went under.
