After losing a defensive end early in the week, Mark Stoops' defense has picked up another defensive end. Highland (Kansas) Community College defensive lineman, Phil Hoskins, has picked UK over Baylor, Oklahoma State, Colorado, Houston, Miss. State and more. His statement via Twitter (@phil_hoskins):
Before he made the announcement official, he teased us all by RTing one of his lead recruiters, Vince Marrow.
The 6'5" 275-pound athlete is a member of the class of 2017, originally from Toledo, Ohio. His recruitment has picked up steam over the last month, earning nine of his 15 offers since April. After you watch him do work, you can understand why.
