KSR readers and listeners have answered the call to help the residents of Martin County. After just two hours on the radio, we've raised more than $15,046. It's a great start, but we still need your help.
If you're unfamiliar with the water crisis in Martin County, thousands of residents in the Eastern Kentucky county have been without water off and on for several weeks as the Martin County Water District has shut off access due to leaks and other issues.
Today
the radio show was in Inez to help spread awareness and raise money with the help of God's Pantry. Two truckloads of clean water are already on the way to Martin County from Feeding America. More than $15,000 of aid is also on the way. Big Blue Nation, let's make that number climb even higher.
