Prayers for Lynn Bowden and family this Sunday night

A sad note to end this Sunday night, as former Cat and current Las Vegas Raider, Lynn Bowden tweeted that his grandmother has passed from Covid-19.

For a guy that family clearly means everything to, losing his grandmother has to be especially tough. Having lost a grandparent to Covid-19 myself, I know how much of a struggle the final moments can be. From my experience, and in most cases, the family cannot visit or see the person who has tested positive in the hospital, and final goodbyes are said over the phone, if they’re even able to be said at all.

An all-around horrible situation to be a part of, I can speak for all of us at KSR in saying that our thoughts and prayers go out to Lynn and the rest of his family. May his grandmother rest in peace and in power.

We’ve seen Bowden be very active on social media in the past, so I think he’d probably appreciate if fans reached out and sent well wishes his way to let him know the BBN is thinking of him in this tough time.

Now we know of at least two former Kentucky Wildcats who have lost family members to Covid-19, with Karl-Anthony Towns’ mother passing away a few months back. It is especially important to remind everyone to be as safe as possible and wear a mask when necessary. If not just for your safety, but for those around you. Stay safe everyone.
