Pro Football Focus is known for its strict focus on statistics and analytics, rather than preconceived notions or powerhouse biases. It makes sense, then, the media group is one of the few that's high on Kentucky's program and future. PFF has often included Kentucky's team and even individual Wildcats in its discussions. The organization recently praised Lynn Bowden as a desirable weapon for an NFL team and Logan Stenberg as "offensive line coach porn." Now, they're highlighting the team once again. Kentucky tied with Virginia Tech for the No. 2 spot in the nation at yards per attempt throwing at outside cornerbacks with an average of 5.69 yards, according to PFF's analytics. Ohio State led the way with 4.85 yards. During a season where the team dealt with massive turnover in Kentucky's secondary, that doesn't seem too shabby. https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1260623340760215554 Even though the stats technically have the Wildcats tied with the Hokies, it's pretty clear who would claim that tiebreaker, right? This wasn't the only time this off-season the folks with PFF have included a Kentucky connection on one of their lists. Two Wildcats, Darian Kinnard and Landon Young, came in at the top of the list for highest-graded returning SEC offensive tackles. https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1259989161848651776 Hopefully his intense farm work is keeping Young in shape and ready to go for next season. Max Duffy also topped an impressive list of returners. https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1259619727510573056 Hopefully this team gets to see the field this fall. If they do, it's shaping up to be another good one.
