Quinton Bohanna has been turning heads ever since he set foot in Dallas. He stood out right away at rookie mini-camp and has carried that momentum into Cowboys training camp with hopes of making the 53-man roster. The former Kentucky nose guard was taken by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round with the No. 192 overall pick. A 6-foot-4, 360-pound athlete, Bohanna immediately became one of the biggest players on the team. He's played big through the first three days of training camp. Nick Eatman has spent more than 20 years covering the team for their official website. Today nobody impressed him more than Bohanna. https://twitter.com/nickeatman/status/1420099370804973570?s=20 Pollard actually shares a connection with Bohanna. The running back that made Ezekiel Elliot look overpaid in 2020 played collegiately at Memphis. Pollard's Memphis running backs coach was Anthony Jones, Bohanna's high school football coach. Bohanna is considered a run-stuffer, but today's highlights actually came against the pass. He knocked down at least one pass at the line of scrimmage. In a little rookie-on-rookie action, Bohanna also blew by the offensive line and recorded the closest thing you can get to a sack in a professional football practice. https://twitter.com/HelmanDC/status/1420102498052808705?s=20 Many wondered what the Cowboys' motives were when Bohanna was drafted. Obviously, they needed to improve in the run defense after allowing the second most rushing yards in franchise history, but Bohanna does not fit the billing of a typical Cowboys' 4-3 defensive lineman. Whatever questions there were about Bohanna's fit in the system seem to be getting answered this preseason. We'll see more of Bohanna and Bossman Fat when Hard Knocks premieres Aug. 10 on HBO. Until we get to enjoy super hi-def highlights, we're stuck with cell phone footage of Q gobbling up Zeke. https://twitter.com/TheStarVision/status/1419113361644478470?s=20
