After winning the NBA Finals with the Los Angeles Lakers, the second championship of his lengthy career, Rajon Rondo is taking his talents to the other side of the country.

According to Shams Charania, the 14-year NBA vet has agreed to a two-year, $15-million deal with the Atlanta Hawks. The veteran point guard will be tasked to develop budding star Trae Young after the Lakers traded for Dennis Schroder, a player many have simply referred to as “the newer Rondo.”

A Louisville native, Rondo won his first title in 2008 with the Boston Celtics. Now on his seventh NBA team, the former Wildcat is a four-time NBA All-Star.
