We'd like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Ramon Harris as he turns 28 years young today.
The Razor is still out there cashing checks via the game of basketball as a member of the Iowa Energy in the NBA D-League. He averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season, playing alongside Andrew Harrison in Des Moines.
At Kentucky, Harris averaged 3.4 points and 2.8 points in 106 games over four years. He is also the only Alaskan to ever suit up for the blue and white.

Isaiah Briscoe will return to Kentucky.
The biggest news of the offseason came yesterday when Isaiah Briscoe announced he will be back for a sophomore season, via this tweet to his fans:

An official release from the university would later confirm the news with a quote from Briscoe:
“I really grew from this experience and I appreciate the opportunity to be evaluated by these NBA teams. I also want to thank the coaching staff and the fans for their support during this time. The NBA is my ultimate goal, so I’m returning to build on last year. There’s no better place to grow as a player or to win a championship, and I want to do both.”
Briscoe's return assures us we will see another outstanding three-guard lineup from the Wildcats. If De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk are as advertised, and Briscoe finds his shot, UK will once again have the best backcourt in the country.
Marcus Lee to return to college, but not at Kentucky.
Shortly after Briscoe announced he will be back, we learned Marcus Lee will remove his name from the draft and transfer to another school. Kentucky granted Lee a full release with no restrictions for his final season of college basketball, which will likely send him out west to be closer to family.
A press release quoted Lee as saying:
“I want to thank the University of Kentucky, the basketball staff and the Big Blue Nation for supporting me over the years. I’m sorry it took me so long to come to this decision, but I’m trying to do what’s right for me and my family. I’ll always think fondly of my time at Kentucky.”
The move is somewhat puzzling, but it was pretty clear from the get-go he had no interest in returning to UK. We wish Marcus well and hope this works out for him.
The six incoming freshmen have their jersey numbers.

Mac Jones named to the Rivals.com Five-Star Challenge.
For the first time since Drew Barker in 2013, Kentucky will have a committed quarterback in Rivals' Five-Star Challenge. Mac Jones will be traveling to Atlanta the second weekend of June to compete against other elite quarterbacks in the 2010-11 class. It's a huge honor for him, but a solid performance will only bring more challengers in his recruitment.
Lamar Thomas ran into Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson while recruiting in Miami.
