Former Cat Rekalin Sims was arrested early Friday in Lexington and charged with
trafficking drugs within a thousand yards of a school zone. The arrest took place at FedEx on Mercer Road, where Sims was picking up a package. The former UK big man transferred after one season to Fresno State, where he was dismissed after being charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, both felonies. Those charges were later dropped. If convicted, it is believed that Sims will spend his time in prison
learning to spell "Northern".
