Rick Brooks and AD Mitch Barnhart have reportedly "hugged it out", and
reached an agreement on a contact extension. Wow. That's quite the cushy hot seat Brooks is sitting on these days huh? Just goes to show how important momentum is in the realm of sports. Your QB gets hot...you score a lotta points, win some games...nearly win in Neyland...go to a trendy bowl...pick up a few recruits...voi la, your 401k gets some last minute juice, and you've got a slice of Cooper Dr. named in your honor. Who says it's all downhill after 50? The terms of the deal have yet to be released (because UK still likes to spread thier news via the horseback courier), but it's nice to finally have some front office stability over there at Commonwealth for the first time in a long time. We'll of course have more on this as the details are illegally leaked into our careless but gentle hands, so check back every minute of every day of the rest of your life.
