Rick Pitino is tweeting about the college hoops trial
When Rick Pitino got Twitter, we knew this would happen.
Today at the college hoops trial, Pitino’s name was mentioned in a recorded conversation between former Adidas consultant Merl Code and agent Christian Dawkins, who are charged with plotting to pay Brian Bowen’s father $100,000 in exchange for his son’s commitment to Louisville. In the conversation, Code says that Pitino knew some of the details of the arrangement, but not all:

Upon seeing the news, Pitino couldn’t help himself and quickly took to Twitter to spread the truth to his Pitweetos:
I have never met or spoken to Merl code in my life. Thought that name was a Nike name until the story broke
