Road Deja Vu for the Cats as they fall to Vandy, 81-77

m39d46aa810b95e39b3ba0d43bd8fa264 It was the same old song and dance for the Cats as they held a lead on the road with under four minutes left in the game only to see it disappear down the stretch through a combination of stupid turnovers and missed shots. The story of the night for Vanderbilt was the play of John Jenkins, who had a career high 32 points on 6-10 shooting from beyond the three point line. His play combined with Vandy's ridiculous 11-20 shooting from beyond the arc as a team and numerous second chance opportunities from offensive rebounds dropped the Cats to 5-5 in SEC play. We struggled with foul trouble on both Liggins and Jorts as well as a Darius Miller leg injury, but the inability to contain Vanderbilt defensively prevented UK from taking a first half lead and making up the difference in the second.
