Friday's Big Blue Madness is the biggest recruiting night of the year for Kentucky basketball and it appears another one of John Calipari's top 2018 targets will be in attendance. According to TJ Walker, five-star shooting guard Romeo Langord will make the trip from New Albany, Indiana to Lexington for Madness, joining a long guest list of VIP recruits.

Langford was one of the first 2018 players to get an offer from Calipari this year and hosted Cal on an in-home visit back on September 26. In fact, Calipari may have referred to that meeting last night during UK's open practice on ESPNU. “I was in Indiana, and a mother said, ‘I’ve got to watch you coach in practice.’ I said, ‘Why?’. She said, ‘Because Trey Lyles averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds and is a lottery pick and is going to be an All-Star. And then she said, ‘By the way, Devin Booker didn’t even start! How is this—what?!’ Because they’re great kids, they want to get better. They came here to get better. They came here to compete against other really good players. …This stuff here, it ain’t for everybody.” Other recruits also scheduled to be at Madness: Trae Young, Nick Richards, PJ Washington, Quade Green, Kevin Knox, and 2018 point guard Immanuel Quickley. Be sure to make them feel welcome.
