(h/t The State Journal)[/caption]   Neal Brown has marveled at incoming freshman Ryan Timmons speed on the football field. Yesterday Timmons reinforced Brown's beliefs by taking home the AA State Title in the 100M and 200M. Timmons successfully pulled off the 3-peat in the 100M, finishing in 11.06 seconds.   While re-claiming his title in 100M was important, Timmons showed his competitive nature by focusing primarily on winning the 200M, a race he fell just short of winning the year before. "I lost last year and I had something to prove. It was kind of disappointing and that’s what I’ve been working for, to show people how fast I was.” After hearing Cal recently preach and preach about toughness, you can appreciate Timmons' competitive "headhunter" mentality that will be brought to football team in the fall.
