Former Kentucky forward Sacha Killeya-Jones is headed to Israel.

After making previous stops in Prague, Estonia and Poland, the former Wildcat has signed a 1+1 deal with Hapoel Galil Gaboa of the Israeli Winner League. He will also play in the FIBA Europe Cup.

After making stops at Kentucky and North Carolina State in college, Killeya-Jones turned pro in 2019. He first joined Get Better Academy in Prague, averaging 18.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 12 games. The former Wildcat signed with Braunschweig out of Germany, but didn’t play an official game with the team. He then signed with Kalev/Cramo (Estonia) of the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League and VTB United League, averaging 10.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game for the club in 2019-20.

In July 2020, Killeya-Jones signed with MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza of the Polish Basketball League. He averaged 19 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per contest before leaving the team in January 2021.

In two years at Kentucky, Killeya-Jones averaged 3.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks in 11.7 minutes per contest. He finished with a career-high 12 points against UT Martin in 2016.

Killeya-Jones transferred to North Carolina State in 2018 and was forced to sit out the 2018-19 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He left the team in February 2019 for undisclosed reasons before turning pro just two weeks later.

Best of luck to SKJ in Israel.
